Pool Inspections

Why Hire Us To Do a Pool Inspection?
Just as a home inspection informs you about the condition of the home you are interested in purchasing, a pool inspection informs you about the condition of the pool. Most home inspectors do not offer pool inspection, as this requires highly specialized skills. Some pool service companies may offer inspections, but as this is not the focus of their business, they are unlikely to have highly trained and experienced staff solely dedicated to this purpose.

The Association of Pool & amp;Spa Professionals

We have extensive experience performing inground pool inspections for potential home buyers. By attending educational seminars and trade shows, we stay in touch with new developments and technology. When you contract with us, you can be confident you are hiring true professionals.

What Does Our Pool Inspection Include?
The whole pool environment is evaluated, not just the pool and equipment. The intention of a pool inspection is to evaluate the current condition of all accessible pool components. We identify items that need repair to make the pool operational, safe and reasonable to maintain. We also note the condition of the fence, gates, walkway, pool perimeter, slide, diving board, deck, rails, coping, lighting, structure, and other items of possible concern. Occasionally the inspection will reveal that further specialized testing is warranted.

Swimming Pool Photo

You receive a detailed, customized report, NOT A CHECKLIST. It summarizes our professional's evaluation on the condition of your particular pool and its associated accessible equipment. Digital photos are taken to assist us in composing the inspection report. If a narrated photo report is desired, you can order this report for an additional fee. Recommendations for maintenance and repairs are listed in this report, needed to make the pool operational and reasonable to maintain. The inspection report provides the buyer with valuable information about the condition of the pool and its environment. A detailed report will be emailed to the addresses you provide on the request form, soon after the inspection is completed. Our report enables you to proceed with confidence in your purchasing decision and to look forward to becoming a pool owner.

Year-Round Inspections
If your inspection is scheduled during warm weather, the current owner should have the pool open with clear, clean water so that the entire operation and the surface of the pool is viewable. If your inspection is scheduled when the pool is closed, the current owner should pump off standing water and remove any debris from the cover. If this is not possible, you may incur an additional labor charge to prepare the pool for inspection. If freezing conditions prevent us from normal access to the pool, we will use a videoscope at no extra charge.
